Grumpy Sheep Music sign with CCLI

There's a lovely write up about us...

Grumpy Sheep Music, creators of fun, educational musicals, nativities and songs for primary and pre-school children have signed with CCLI Europe.

The agreement means that schools and churches will now be able to legally reproduce songs from Grumpy Sheep Music’s catalogue under their Collective Worship/Music Reproduction licences from CCLI.

Grumpy Sheep Music publish educational children’s songs and musical plays written especially for pre- and primary school children as well as children with special needs.

Based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Grumpy Sheep Music began publishing children’s music in 2000. It was founded by Caroline Hoile, who has a wealth of experience in education and as a writer and composer of musicals for young children. Since the late 1980′s, through Golden Apple productions, Caroline has had a series of children’s musicals published, including titles such a ‘The Little Angel’, ‘The Gigantic Star’ and the ‘Grumpy Sheep.’ Caroline’s musicals have a simple moral or ideal running through them, blended with a dramatic story line. Each musical has an accompanying CD, produced by Caroline’s husband, Martin Hoile, featuring both the songs and backing tracks.

Grumpy Sheep Music supplies musicals, Christmas nativities and songbooks to primary schools and nurseries throughout the UK and abroad, as well as music and book shops, church groups, theatre groups and individual customers.
