Our Wonderfully Wintry (non-nativity) Christmas Musicals!
by Caroline HoileAnd so it's November! Isn't the year flying by so quickly?
At this time of year our much-loved nativity musicals wend their way to schools and nurseries up and down the country to be lovingly performed at Christmas time.
But did you know that we also produce non- nativity musicals which can be so beautiful to perform at Christmas? These musicals often carry an important global message, which raises awareness about a particular topic in a very engaging, child friendly way.
Several of our musicals make for wonderful non-nativity performances this term. One is the King of all Polar Bears, which is set in the Arctic, with beautiful songs about Arctic wildlife. It encourages children to respect each other's differences - and to share our world in peace.
Another musical that we'd recommend is Poppy the Penguin. This musical is set in the Antarctic, with vibrant songs about the wildlife there. It deals with climate change and encourages positive action to help save our wonderful planet and its equally wonderful creatures.
If you click the links above you'll be able to read more of the story lines of both of these wonderfully wintry musicals, and hear excerpts of the ever-so wintry songs, so perfect to be sung this Christmas!
